Small Round Flagon

Small round flagon.

Hand-built using black stoneware clay. Once leather-hard I've carved a concentric 'honeycomb reef' pattern in the surface. Glazed in a glossy ice turquoise. I've wiped some of the glaze from the surface of the carving allowing the natural beauty of the black clay to contrast with the gloss glaze.

Measures 17 cm high and 13 cm at the widest point.
